Pimples are a nuisance, there is no doubt about it. They look ugly, they hurt, and they are thoroughly annoying. But for many people they are a seemingly inevitable fact of life, which means that learning how to deal with them is important.
The most basic response to pimples is to reassess your hygiene and your diet. There is no way that you can guarantee to eliminate them, but you can go a long way in that direction by being clean and well nourished. May people think they eat healthily, but very few actually do so. If you regularly eat sugar, if you drink fizzy drinks, if you eat white bread, white rice, cakes, biscuits (yes, even just that one piece for elevenses when you are feeling peckish …) then you are stoking your pimple problem. Refined carbohydrates of any sort are bad for your system. It may seem cruel to say that you have to ditch them completely, but that is life.
As for hygiene, this goes beyond just washing with soap and warm water twice a day. You also need to deep clean once a week with an exfoliating cream, and steam bath your face twice a week, to keep the pores clean. Needless to say, change your bed sheets and pillow case at least weekly, and don’t wash them in a detergent that contains enzymes. Modern biological powders can be hell on the skin, and make it very sensitive.
If all of this fails to remove the pimple problem, invest a few pounds to buy a pimple popper. These are he safest, easiest and most hygienic way to remove blackheads and whiteheads.
